About the business

You will be employed within the business area ‘Digitalization & Business Development’ and become part of the department ‘Development & Management’. Your closest colleagues hold roles such as data engineer, product owner, solution architect (integration and frontend), and developers within BI, AI, and ML. Together, you are responsible for integrations, analyses, and support systems in close collaboration with the business. You will report to the department manager for ‘Development & Management:

Your everyday life

As a solution architect, you will be a key player in the development and management of our modern analytics platform, built on a data lakehouse architecture in Azure. In close collaboration with the business and the development team, you will be responsible for shaping and ensuring solutions that meet today’s and future needs. Your tasks are varied and include:

• Responsible for the solution architecture: Design and drive solutions that are secure, scalable, and efficient, in line with business goals and technical requirements.
• Lead the development of our analytics platform: Contribute operationally to technical projects while coaching and strengthening the team’s technical competence.
• Develop ETL processes and data models: Collaborate with Data Engineers to build robust data processes that support business-critical analyses.
• Ensure data quality and information security: Implement and maintain best practices in data quality, governance, and security in cloud-based solutions.
• Keep an eye on the future: Follow and evaluate new frameworks, methods, and technologies that strengthen our analytics platform and our processes. Also part of our architecture council.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in the data and analytics field, preferably in roles such as Data Engineer or Solution Architect.
• Solid competence in Azure and cloud-based solutions with a focus on Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks – you enjoy working hands-on and being involved in development.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes and modeling as well as good knowledge of information security.
• Experience in driving architectural decisions and implementing high-quality solutions.
• Relevant higher education in Data/IT or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and innovation.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and Swedish citizenship is required.

We will also place importance on your personal qualities such as a positive and humble attitude, drive and responsibility, good collaboration skills, and an interest in working closely with the business and understanding their needs in the data and analytics area.
