“From day one at Fellowmind, I have felt so welcome! Right from the start, I was trusted to contribute to real projects with clients. The breadth of Bison's technical stack allows for very varied tasks, making the job as a developer both interesting and challenging. Fellowmind has a wonderful culture, people are very nice, and everyone helps each other not just within the Bison team but across the entire company. This makes it always fun to go to work!” This is how Axel (https://www.linkedin.com/in/axel-nilsson-3836332b7/), who joined us last autumn, describes his first time at Fellowmind and why he enjoys it here! “- Yes, even before I started, I had the opportunity to get to know future colleagues through invitations to both summer parties and running Toughest together,” adds Gabriel (https://www.linkedin.com/in/gabriel-petersson-0592b3262/), who started at the same time as Axel in our Bison team.

Now we are kicking off the recruitment process and looking for two more junior stars to join us!

About the position

Our Bison team works with the business system Bison (https://www.fellowmind.com/sv-se/losningar/vara-affarssystem/bison/), which is owned, developed, and maintained by us. Bison is an ERP system tailored for wholesale operations primarily in the iron and building trade and fresh produce trade. High performance, tolerance for large transaction volumes, and unique customization opportunities characterize the system, which is delivered as a cloud solution with a modern and fresh web interface.

In the role of developer within Bison, your focus will be to help our customers improve and develop their business processes in the system. You will, among other things, build integrations between different systems, functional adaptations, or customer-specific solutions.

Technical keywords in the role are RPG, SQL, JavaScript, UX, Web, Git. Our expectation is not that you should know all of this beforehand, but rather that you have a genuine interest in learning.

As a developer, you work closely with the business and have a lot of dialogue with customers where you get to understand their problems and challenges to then figure out a good way to solve them, which allows for both creativity and logical thinking. Much of the work is done in close collaboration with colleagues where you help each other.

Based on our values – Always personal, Better together, Serious about fun, and Act with courage – we support throughout the entire process and the customer’s continued growth.

The work as a developer with us is incredibly exciting and varied, and you will quickly see that the work you do creates results for our customers. The challenges are many, and it is important that you who are applying are driven and used to working independently while also being able to function as part of a project with others.

The Bison team that you will be a part of is a close-knit team with everything from seniors who have worked with the system since the dawn of time to more junior colleagues who are at the beginning of their careers. What unites everyone is that they really help each other, share their knowledge, and no one sees themselves as fully learned. Initially, you will receive a mentor who is there to support you both technically and personally. Our ambition is to hire two developers as we have learned from experience that this allows for mutual support in daily tasks.

Who are you?

The role of junior developer within our Bison team is aimed at you who are newly graduated or have some years of experience and who check off the following;

  • Have (or will soon have) a university degree in, for example, Computer Engineering or System Science with a focus on system development or equivalent
  • Have a strong interest in programming and how digitalization, IT, and systems can support the business
  • Have a great deal of drive, constantly take new initiatives, and ensure that things happen
  • Believe that problems are meant to be solved, preferably together with nice customers and colleagues
  • Have analytical skills and a high logical ability
  • Are fluent in both Swedish and English

If you are newly graduated, we also believe that you have some work experience either alongside your studies or from previous jobs, preferably within finance, production, or warehousing, and preferably as a user of systems to understand how business and systems are interconnected.

The practicalities

Start: September 2025

Location: At our central office in Malmö, and yes, we have a rooftop terrace and game room with billiards, playstation, and board games that every self-respecting IT company should have!

Application deadline: 13/4

As we place great importance on your logical ability and personality, personality and logic tests will be part of the early recruitment process. In addition, the recruitment process consists of selection questions upon application, teams interview, in-depth interviews, and reference checks.
