Your responsibilities

This role is to join the Store Operational Tools team in the Ingka Digital Physical Customer Meeting Point area as a Software Engineer.

Here you will be part of a team that will develop, implement & rollout digital solutions that will enhance co-workers & customer experience within physical meeting points of Ingka.

Who you are

DAY TO DAY:

Deploy cloud native solutions as per architecture guidelines and tech standards.

Maintain and improve software engineering standards and engineering baselines.

You will develop your craft and leadership to be best-in-class engineers and engineering practices.

Work with the software engineering leadership to mentor and grow other best-in-class engineers.

Collaborate with tech teams across digital solutions in the store operational tools area to share best practices.

You are excited about opportunities and the impact you can have with technology.

In your day-to-day work you think about code quality, automation, architecture guidelines, security recommendations, privacy guidelines, modern and innovative ways of working in a cross-functional, agile team to take part in shaping the future of IKEA.

You communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders. You share knowledge, experiences and collaborate well with your colleagues.

You are continuously learning and see mentorship and coaching as a core part of your growth.

You are experienced with GCP stack.

You can design, develop, secure, test and deploy solutions with our technology stack that includes React, JavaScript, TypeScript and NodeJS. You will also have experience with both relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Firestore).
