Do you want to help keep Helsingborg connected? As a Network Technician at Pingday, you play a crucial role in ensuring that the city's digital infrastructure is stable, secure, and accessible for over 55,000 connections – from homes and businesses to essential community functions.

As a Network Technician with us…

you will be part of a dedicated and close-knit team where we support each other and have fun at work. We are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of Pingday's various networks and services, covering large parts of northwestern Skåne. With us, you will have a varied and responsible role where you work both in the field and from the office.

Your main responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and operation of active equipment

• Technical Support and case management – 2nd line

• Troubleshooting and fault resolution

• Operation/Monitoring of systems for network and service management, access control, portals, etc.

• Operation/Monitoring of firewalls, log servers

• Manage and develop assigned areas of responsibility, such as a system or platform

• Participate in on-call duty and service windows

• Actively participate in improvement work and projects

• Staff our NOC (Network Operations Center) for monitoring of city networks and services when needed

You will be part of a competent and close-knit team where we share knowledge, collaborate, and support each other to deliver the best possible quality in everything we do.

You will work closely with both internal and external specialists, and in the long run, we want you to take responsibility for your own focus area. Once you are comfortable in your role, the position will also include on-call duties.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on network technology

• Several years of experience working as a network technician

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Driver's license B

We value your personality and attitude and are looking for someone who thrives in a broad and varied role, where you can work both hands-on in the field and in the office. You are structured, self-driven, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to different situations and work solution-oriented.

You communicate clearly, collaborate well with colleagues and partners, and feel equally comfortable working independently as in a team.
