Frontend Developer Wanted!

Do you describe yourself as communicative and engaged, and do you have experience with JavaScript and Linux? Do you want to develop web-based tools to support healthcare? Then we have the role for you!

Our client is currently looking for a full-time frontend developer to drive the development of their digital platform for healthcare and care operations. The platform is used to simplify and improve the work of healthcare in the home, for palliative care, mobile nursing teams, hospital-at-home, and offers an efficient workflow through planning tools, communication channels, coordination, and other interventions for the patient. The system has been developed in close collaboration with healthcare professionals and is easy to use, making it currently utilized by everything from smaller care units to large hospitals.

In this role, you will work broadly within web development. You will further develop the company's web-based service and take on projects related to the company's single page web app. Your focus will be on improving functionality, fixing bugs, and carrying out ongoing optimizations. You will also have close contact with the backend to ensure that the user experience is of high quality. The role also includes testing new development projects and customizing specific features to meet the unique needs of customers.

This position is full-time with flexible office hours at our client's office located in Medicon Village in Lund. The position will start with a 6-month probationary period through us at StudentConsulting, and for the right person, there is an opportunity for extension with the client company.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a master's degree where you have received solid training in programming and software or
• Has 5-6 years of experience in programming and frontend development

You should also:

• Have experience with JavaScript and Java, and have worked in a Linux environment
• Be unpretentious, driven, and show engagement in your work
• Be able to collaborate in a close team driven by communication and discussion

If you have led your own projects in programming, or have other work experience in testing or software development, this is considered highly meritorious. It is also a plus if you have experience with Backbone.js and React.js. Since the company works to improve and simplify the work for healthcare, it is also advantageous if you have interest and experience from healthcare or home care.
