As a project manager, you will primarily drive digitalization projects within the Digital Close Care program, where you will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and implementing projects aimed at introducing digital solutions and technologies. Your responsibility will be to ensure the overall coherence of the project and that the organizational change is synchronized with the introduction of new digital solutions.

The Digitalization IT and MT administration was established in January 2020 and provides support and service to the healthcare sector in Skåne. The administration's mission is to introduce a modern and cohesive digital healthcare environment while managing and effectively consolidating the existing IT environment. This includes managing and supporting existing and upcoming systems and ensuring, throughout the entire product lifecycle, the operational reliability of Region Skåne's medical technology products (MTP) and assisting various operations and partners in Region Skåne with technical expertise and support in medical technology-related matters. The administration is also responsible for the fundamental healthcare information systems and drives the development of future healthcare information while enabling the work with digitalization and the introduction of new working methods in Region Skåne's operations.

Region Skåne is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation work - Future Health System, where digitalization is a key enabler. As part of this, the Digitalization, IT, and MT administration has established the Business Area of Digital Transformation to work strategically and purposefully with digitalization and transformation together with our operations and key partners. Within this business area is the Project Office, which you will belong to, currently consisting of about 50 employees, including program managers, program coordinators, and project managers, both employees and consultants. Together, we drive around 60 projects of varying sizes and complexities.

In the role of project manager within digitalization, you will contribute to the strategic direction of Region Skåne through your projects. You will collaborate with various parts of the region, including our own digitalization unit, the Group Office, Primary Care, Close Care and Health administration, as well as our municipalities and many more. The projects will encompass both large strategic goals and smaller daily operational solutions.

You will work with technical solutions and help healthcare administrations understand how they can best adapt their working methods to take advantage of new technological advancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining a detailed project plan that includes goals, timelines, resources, budget, and milestones for the project.
• Leading and coordinating the project team, consisting of various specialists and stakeholders.
• Regularly communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to keep them informed about the project's progress, developments, and any changes.
• Identifying potential risks and challenges that may affect the project's success and developing strategies to minimize their impact.
• Ensuring that the project delivers the intended results and monitoring project goals and outcomes against the original plans.
• After project completion, conducting an evaluation to analyze the project's success factors, lessons learned, and potential areas for improvement for future projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

A relevant university or college degree or other training combined with relevant experience that we consider equivalent is required for the role. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.

You also need to have:

• Experience in driving change and digitalization projects in larger complex organizations involving both organizational changes and the introduction of new digital solutions.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to operate at both tactical and operational levels.
• The ability to act independently based on the mandates that the project encompasses and to find solutions, as well as the ability to create structures and processes.
• Good experience in planning and conducting workshops.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Certification in project management and change management
• Experience with agile methods.
