As a project manager placed in the Digital Infrastructure, Information, and AI program, you will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and implementing projects aimed at introducing digital solutions and technologies. Your responsibility will be to ensure the overall coherence of the project and that the organizational change is synchronized with the introduction of new digital solutions.

The Digitalization IT and MT administration was established in January 2020 and provides support and services to the Skåne healthcare system. The administration's mission is to introduce a modern and cohesive digital healthcare environment while maintaining and effectively consolidating today's existing IT environment. The mission includes management and support of existing and upcoming systems and ensuring, throughout the entire product lifecycle, the operational reliability of Region Skåne's medical technology products (MTP) and assisting Region Skåne's various operations and partners with technical expertise and support in medical technology-related matters. The administration is also responsible for the fundamental healthcare information systems and drives the development of future healthcare information while enabling the work with digitalization and the introduction of new working methods in Region Skåne's operations.

Region Skåne is currently undergoing a comprehensive transformation - Future Health System, where digitalization is a key enabler. As part of this, the Digitalization, IT, and MT administration has established the Business Area Digital Transformation to work strategically and purposefully with digitalization and transformation together with our operations and key partners. Within the business area, there is the Project Unit that you will belong to, which currently has about 50 employees consisting of program managers, program coordinators, and project managers, both employees and consultants. Together, we drive around 60 projects of varying sizes and complexities.

You will lead projects where the region's data from many processes and contexts is collected, quality assured, standardized, protected, and made accessible. You will coordinate efforts from developers, testers, data engineers, data scientists, security experts, buyers, architects, and analysts to support the region's employees, patients, and residents. Development of platforms for integration and machine learning, leading projects with data lakes and various analytical tools will also be part of your responsibilities. By facilitating medical research, you contribute to the region's ability to make better and often life-critical decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining a detailed project plan that includes objectives, timelines, resources, budget, and milestones for the project.
• Leading and coordinating the project team, consisting of various specialists and stakeholders.
• Regularly communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to keep them informed about the project's progress, developments, and any changes.
• Identifying potential risks and challenges that may affect the project's success and developing strategies to minimize their impact.
• Ensuring that the project delivers the intended results and following up on project goals and outcomes against the original plans.
• After project completion, conducting an evaluation to analyze the project's success factors, lessons learned, and any areas for improvement for future projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

The role requires relevant university or college education or other training along with current experience that we assess as equivalent. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.

You also need to have:

• Led change and digitalization projects in larger complex organizations involving both organizational changes and the introduction of new digital solutions.
• Good leadership skills and are accustomed to operating at both tactical and operational levels.
• The ability to act independently based on the mandates that the project encompasses and find solutions, as well as the ability to create structures and processes.
• Good experience in planning and conducting workshops.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Certification in project management and change management
• Experience with agile methods.
