ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client is a leading global provider of first-class products in heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling. With these as a foundation, they aim to improve the productivity and competitiveness of their customers in various industries worldwide.

Our client has developed a Python application that allows users to configure a specific geometry with associated loads via a simple graphical user interface. The configuration is evaluated against a construction standard, and the result is displayed directly in the interface. What our client needs help with is to, based on the same programming structure, split the current configuration into an extended configuration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work tasks

Divide the current configuration into an extended configuration, restructuring the user interface and configuration file.
Ensure that the object-oriented structure with classes and functions is maintained.
Implement support for reading old configuration files and populating the new configuration.
Set up a version control workflow on a local file server, preferably using VSCode as the editor.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Is studying a bachelor or master’s program within computer science or similar and has at least 1.5 years left of your studies.
Has experience in programming with Python.
Has experience in VSCode as an editor. Knowledge can be gained through education, experience, or self-taught.
