The Department of Health and Medical Care Management (HSS) supports Region Skåne's political organization and corporate management with assignment work and monitoring of the overall healthcare system. Our mission is to contribute to a coherent and well-functioning healthcare system, based on the needs of the residents and efficient use of resources. The department is an active participant in the national work that develops the healthcare system. One of the units at HSS is the digitalization unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with the informatics team, you will work to strengthen Region Skåne's ability for semantic interoperability, primarily focusing on healthcare.

You will collaborate with others to develop methods for mapping and documenting the information components in systems and to strengthen the informatics perspective in decision-making and work processes. You will prepare decision materials and educate and inform employees at all levels about how the informatics work needs to be conducted and why. In the program for Skåne's digital healthcare system (SDV), you will work as part of the team to ensure that the information components in the system can be managed before, during, and after deployment.

Depending on your competence profile, your assignment may also include, for example:

• Increasing Region Skåne's compliance with national and international standards for semantic interoperability, such as FHIR and OpenEHR.
• Increasing the use of Snomed CT by developing methods, preparing decision materials, and conducting training initiatives.
• Process, concept, information, and data modeling.
• Participating in digitalization projects.
• Monitoring trends in informatics.
• Collaboration with other regions and national actors.

The team is led by a team leader and consists of several other informaticians, as well as terminologists and information architects. The unit is under construction, and part of your working time will be spent establishing and implementing new methods and routines. QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have an academic education in a relevant field, such as informatics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience in informatics that the employer assesses as equivalent. A prerequisite for the position is that you can express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. You need to be skilled at describing the purpose and goals of the informatics work to employees at all levels and finding concrete ways forward.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience in driving change and/or educational work in informatics.
• Experience working with the implementation of new digital systems and/or if you have worked informatically with healthcare information systems.
• Knowledge or experience of working in healthcare as an informatician or healthcare personnel.
• Several years of experience working in informatics.

You are also welcome to have experience working with:

• Concept systems, classifications, and information standards in healthcare.
• Requirements specification.
• Process, concept, information, and data modeling.
• System integrations.
• Database design and SQL.
• Information structures and information components in IT systems.
