Job Instructor for Kålgårdverket's Daily Operations

We are now seeking a Job Instructor for Kålgårdverket's daily operations.

Your New Job

As a job instructor, you will provide support to our citizens in their daily activities, focusing on developing their independence and practical skills. The work includes assisting participants with product packaging, such as packaging brushes, rollers, and screws. Your role will involve guiding participants through work tasks to promote their learning and problem-solving abilities. Documentation is also part of your responsibilities.

Your Qualifications

For the position of job instructor, a completed high school program in the health and social care program with a specialization in disability/psychiatry or child and leisure studies with a focus on social work/educational work is required. Alternatively, other education deemed relevant by the employer.

You should also have work experience in packaging or warehousing. Alternatively, you may have education in industry. Experience with the target group of intellectual disabilities and knowledge of low-arousal approaches and evidence-based methods is advantageous. You must have proficiency in Swedish in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension, as there will be contact with participants, relatives, guardians, and other professionals, as well as documentation and reading information relevant to the work.

Knowledge of mental health issues is a plus for this position. Additionally, having a B driver's license and forklift certification is also advantageous.

As a person, you are stable and secure, creating a calm and motivating work environment. Your empathetic ability allows you to meet participants with understanding and respect, contributing to their development. Furthermore, you are quality-conscious and work meticulously to ensure that the operations maintain a high standard.

Kålgårdverket's daily operations are located in central Jönköping (Kålgården). The workgroup consists of 9 employees, and we work with about 42 citizens.

Good to Know

The recruitment pertains to a permanent full-time position. The start date for the position is September 1. Working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday. Recruitment is ongoing with rolling selection and interviews.
