Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

Our client is a lively teenage girl who enjoys various activities and socializing! She studies and lives with her parents, siblings, and her dog. She likes gaming, crafting, makeup, playing board games, painting, listening to music, and baking. Hanging out with friends and doing things together is also fun!

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a girl in her 20s living in Värnamo (Hånger)

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• has a B driver's license and access to a car to get to the workplace

• is comfortable working in a school environment

• is tolerant of pets

• is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have experience working with lifting aids

• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and one position is approximately 60% and the other is approximately 90%. The position involves work during daytime and evening on weekdays and weekends, with working hours varying between 06:30 AM and 10:30 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date:

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
