Personal Assistant Needed for Active 8-Year-Old in Jönköping

We are now looking for a wonderful person with a heart in the right place who wants to work as a personal assistant to our client, an active 8-year-old boy living in Jönköping with his family. A fun and rewarding job for you who enjoy helping another person in everyday life.

About the Position

As a personal assistant, your workplace will be wherever the boy is, and you will spend your time both indoors and outdoors. The boy enjoys listening to music, exploring YouTube, reading books, playing games, and being outside to play, among other things. He communicates using an eye-controlled computer that is always with him. You will also need to assist with various activities such as bowling or swimming. You will be a support in the boy's daily life and be with him in all situations.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is willing to go the extra mile. We prefer that you are flexible and can easily adapt to different situations. You can read others and have an easy time blending in as you work in a family. You should be able to sense when to take initiative and when to step back. You should be technically inclined and have no difficulties handling games, apps, and other technology, as it is a significant part of the boy's daily life. Previous experience in personal assistance or other social work is a plus. The most important factor will be your personal qualities and the chemistry between you, the boy, and his family.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. To be considered for the position, you must be smoke-free and cannot have allergies to pets or fur, as there is a cat in the home, and you will also be swimming with the client. We also prefer that you have good physical fitness, as transfers occur several times during a work shift.
