The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS LVM Home Hessleby, located in a beautiful forest environment just outside Mariannelund, accommodates men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We have special competence to receive clients with mental health issues or outwardly aggressive behavior. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs.

Job Description

Do you want to help create a vital difference for vulnerable people? Then the job as an operational leader is a meaningful role. In the role of operational leader, you are responsible for institution-wide coordination and management of ongoing work outside office hours, aiming to promote a safe care and work environment. You guide and support your colleagues in their work and ensure that the work is conducted lawfully and in accordance with applicable governing documents, methods, and set goals. Specifically, this means that you are responsible for incident management during alarm situations and take necessary actions after an incident occurs. You communicate noted deficiencies and deviations from routines to the relevant managers. You establish and update safety assessments and make decisions regarding coercive measures according to LVU, LSU, and LVM in accordance with SiS's work and delegation order.

The schedule includes working afternoons, evenings, and awake nights, with every other weekend included.

Qualifications

Furthermore, you are structured in your work and have a good ability to plan and prioritize effectively.

You should also have:

• Relevant higher education such as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent higher education, or at least a two-year vocational education (treatment pedagogue) along with experience working within SiS or similar operations.
• Several years of experience working within SiS or another organization focusing on care, treatment, and safety, such as social services, care and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant operations.
• Experience in leading, prioritizing, and coordinating a workgroup.

The schedule includes working afternoons, evenings, and awake nights, with every other weekend included.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
