We are looking for four dedicated employees for our short-term activity!

The short-term activity will consist of two operations with a common workgroup that staffs both units.

The operation offers short-term stays according to LSS for individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders, aimed at children and adolescents.

Here, individuals have the opportunity to develop their independence, participate in meaningful activities, and feel secure in a stimulating environment. At the same time, relatives are given relief and time for their own activities.

As part of our staff, you will play an important role in continuing to develop and shape an operation that is based on the individual's needs, interests, and conditions. We work together with clarity, commitment, and a low-arousal approach that permeates our everyday life.

We place great importance on creating a safe and flexible environment that is tailored to each individual. Our workgroup collaborates closely and supports each other in meeting the challenges and opportunities that everyday life presents.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of caregiver/support assistant, you will:

  • Support individuals in their daily lives and leisure activities.
  • Plan and participate in activities such as walks, outings, crafts, and movie nights.
  • Contribute to maintaining and developing skills that strengthen their independence.
  • Perform personal care as well as practical tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking.
  • Document interventions and development according to guidelines.

Working hours: Scheduled shifts during the day, evening, weekends, and awake night shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education as a caregiver/support assistant, preschool teacher, or other education/work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience and knowledge of autism spectrum disorders.
  • Be secure, responsive, and flexible with a clear and pedagogical approach.
  • Enjoy working in a team and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Computer skills and a good ability to express yourself in writing in Swedish.

Desirable competencies:

  • Knowledge of sign language support, low-arousal approach, and clear pedagogical methods.
  • Experience working with individuals with various disabilities.
  • Driver's license (manual transmission).
