Working as a personal assistant is important and rewarding in many different ways, but it can also be difficult and demanding. There can be several different challenges and different conditions to consider at the same time. It is important that you, as an assistant, feel secure in your professional role, and your introductory training is followed by frequent staff meetings and ongoing supervision.

We are now looking for a new colleague who is responsible, empathetic, and engaged to assist our 19-year-old customer in Västerås. The position involves working every other weekend on a schedule, as well as on an as-needed basis when colleagues are absent. There is also an opportunity to work more during the summer. With us, you will become a valuable and appreciated member of the team and the most important support in the customer's life!

We see that you are cheerful, proactive, social, and hardworking. You feel a great sense of responsibility and pride in the work you do. You pay attention to the small details but also see the bigger picture and strive for perfection. You can share yourself to bring a smile. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and you are tobacco-free and not allergic to animals as there are pets in the home. A driver's license is required as the customer has their own car.

Our customer has several disabilities, including CP injury and an intellectual disability. This means she needs help in all situations to meet her needs and interests. However, her extensive support needs do not prevent her from finding fun activities every day! In your role, you will plan and structure her daily life so that every day feels valuable. Your workday can look different depending on whether it is a day, evening, or night shift, but the care routines remain the same, and your most important task is to ensure that the customer feels good and lives a fun, safe, and valuable life. You work wherever the customer is, whether it is a doctor's appointment, a game night at a friend's house, or a family celebration.

You will always work together with a colleague during day and evening shifts.

Experience in care and support in any form is an advantage, but the most important thing is your wonderful personality and your willingness to always be your best self at work!

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensation according to collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately.

Employment conditions: For as long as the assistance assignment lasts, 18% position. Scheduled work every other Saturday & Sunday.
