to apply for the job

Welcome to Norberg, the small municipality with a big heart. Our operations reflect a strong commitment among employees, short decision-making paths, and a sense of community. If you want to be a part of this, you are warmly welcome.

Daily operations consist of four different activities.

The operations face new challenges as both demands and conditions change. We are looking for someone who is flexible and thrives in a developing environment. You take your own initiative and can work independently even when routines are not fully in place.

The Position and Responsibilities

As a support assistant, you will work to support and motivate the user during their activities. You will work based on a clarifying and pedagogical approach, with good knowledge and understanding of the importance of a low-arousal response. Your tasks include maintaining social documentation as well as establishing, following up, and revising implementation plans. You will also be the contact person and collaborate with relatives. You will participate in the quality development of the operations and take part in various meetings, training, and supervision.

The daily operations should be adapted to the individual needs of the user and offer stimulation, development, meaningfulness, and community according to the person's wishes. To make this possible, you need to work with both flexibility and creativity.

Qualifications and Competencies

You who apply should have at least a high school education, preferably with a pedagogical focus.

You have good computer skills and knowledge of social documentation. The work also requires that you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have further education in clarifying pedagogy, AAC (alternative and augmentative communication), and IBIC (individual needs in focus).

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

What We Offer

As an employee within Norberg Municipality, you will be offered, in addition to stimulating work and a good working climate, benefits such as our collective agreement insurance, wellness grants, bicycle benefits, and the opportunity to donate blood during paid working hours.

Other

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled during the application period.

Probationary employment may be applied.
