Our organization is seeking young adults with a criminal background to receive support in changing destructive patterns. Your work is highly relevant and makes a difference – both for the individuals and for society as a whole.

Your Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues and the program leader, you will motivate and support young adults in their journey of change. A common factor among the participants is that they seek help on their own initiative with a desire to change. Our goal is to provide the right support and tools for them to take the step into the job market or start studying.

In your role, you will lead group discussions on various themes, such as finance, relationships, or how society works. In addition to group discussions, you will work individually with personal action plans. You will also plan and carry out other activities with the group, such as joint training and study visits.

For those who need work training, we create contacts with employers and collaborate with other organizations within the labor market units.

Your Qualifications

You have a genuine commitment to the target group with experience in guiding and supporting work at both the individual and group levels. If you have previously worked with young people who exhibit norm-breaking behavior, such as young offenders, it is an advantage.

By being authentic in your communication, you build trust and relationships. You are proactive and take responsibility from planning to execution. To thrive in this role, it is essential that you feel comfortable in an environment with rapid changes and intense dialogues. You are stable and have the ability to remain calm and shift focus according to the situation. To achieve the best possible support, you are an important part of the collaboration both within the workgroup and with external actors.

Since the work involves various activities and occasions where a car is used, you need to have a valid driver's license (B).

Additional Information

During the interview, you will need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must present a valid work permit or be exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
