The administration is responsible for individual and family care, municipal labor market initiatives, and adult education. The Youth Team was created in the autumn of 2021 due to an increased need for holistic and local solutions for youth exhibiting norm-breaking behavior. The Youth Team works on both individual and group levels to make a difference and create opportunities for lasting change. The Youth Team consists of two social workers and four family therapists. Our work is based on Signs of Safety, and we use methods recommended by the National Board of Health and Welfare, such as Crime as a Lifestyle, KSL, and Functional Family Therapy, FFT.

One of our colleagues is moving on to new challenges, and we are therefore looking for a new family therapist for the Youth Team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a family therapist in the Youth Team, you will work outwardly and therapeutically with a relationship-building and coaching approach. You will work in the municipality's areas in venues where children and parents are present, at times when they are available, which may require you to work during inconvenient hours. In the Youth Team, you will work cross-professionally alongside team leaders, family therapists, and social workers. In your work, you will have close collaboration with your colleagues in the team as well as cooperation with other colleagues within the administration, the youth's own network, schools, leisure activities, and the police.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a higher education that may be suitable for the role, e.g., behavioral scientist, public health scientist, criminology education, social work education, or other higher education that the employer deems suitable for the role. You should have prior experience working with youth.

Since driving is part of the job, a B driver's license is required.
