Description

The Social Office in Norberg is undergoing an exciting development.

We have reorganized to further develop leadership and support in daily operations. We are now looking for a social worker for the Children and Family unit. The team consists of four social workers, one foster care secretary, one intake secretary, and three family therapists. The unit also includes short-term and leisure services for children who belong to the target group for LSS.

As a social worker, you work closely with the entire social office to meet families in Norberg who need the utmost support from society. Collaboration with other actors is also a significant part of the work. In Norberg, we have a school social team and a Family Center where collaboration occurs to offer support to children and their families as early as possible.

Norberg is a small municipality with quick decision-making paths and transparency between authorities and politics, which has contributed to good cooperation to meet children's needs.

Responsibilities

As a social worker with us, you will investigate children's needs and follow up on interventions. It is an exciting and intensive job that involves a lot of collaboration and some development responsibilities. We primarily work based on the legislation SoL and LVU. The responsibilities also include participating in the development of social services.

Qualifications

You collaborate well with others and contribute to good cooperation with both internal and external actors. You have a solution-focused approach and work family-oriented to ensure that children can live at home under good conditions.

A degree in social work or another education deemed equivalent by the employer is required for the position, but personal suitability is highly valued. Experience in authority exercise or other forms of social work, as well as training in Signs of Safety and BBIC, is advantageous.
