ABOUT THE POSITION

Vi Omsorg is looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for one of our clients in central Norberg. The position is as a substitute when needed, both before and after the summer, with good opportunities for extended work during the summer when regular staff are on vacation. The shifts are scheduled as 24-hour shifts and there is waiting time during the night.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• From 09:00 to 09:00 the following day 

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 40s. He lives with a spinal hernia and hydrocephalus, as well as epilepsy due to a brain hemorrhage. He has reduced cognitive ability and is paralyzed in the legs and has limited mobility in the upper body and hands. This means he uses a power wheelchair to get around. His memory is affected and he has difficulty orienting himself in time and space. In daily life, he uses a shower chair as an aid and there are also floor lifts in the home to facilitate transfers.

As an assistant to our client, you will among other things:

• Help with daily routines such as household chores
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals

Furthermore, our client loves those calm, relaxed days with warmth and sunshine. Yatzy, card games, and a good TV series are the perfect way to enjoy leisure time.

We prefer that you have similar interests as our client, which makes it easier for you to fit into a life where calm, patience, and simplicity are in focus. You also have the ability to adapt to different needs that may arise. The client prefers female applicants, but the most important thing is your personality and suitability – that always comes first.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working in healthcare
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Driving license B
• Experience in similar work

Start date: To be agreed upon, and we would like to see that you can start the introduction immediately.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.
