Hello! Are you a person who is flexible, responsible, and engaged in your work tasks? You have a calm demeanor while being resourceful, playful, and love working with children? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We are currently seeking assistants for a happy and charming 10-year-old boy. He enjoys singing/music, movement games, massages, hugs, and being outdoors. The boy lives in Västerås with his warm family consisting of his mother, father, and siblings.

On weekdays, the boy is in school, and his need for assistance is primarily in the afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends. During holidays and breaks, daytime work may also occur. The boy has a brain injury, epilepsy, and is blind. This means he needs help with all aspects of his daily living. He requires assistance with dressing, hygiene, communication, and mobility. He needs help with feeding and receives food through a PEG (tube feeding). He also needs help with play, exercise, and stretching his body.

You will receive training if you are offered the job, but experience is an advantage. You need to be in good physical shape as the work involves some training and play. In addition to being engaged, flexible, and responsible, you should also be smoke-free, and strong scents are not used in the workplace. It is an advantage if you have a driver's license, but it is not a requirement.

The working hours are scheduled during the afternoon, evening, and weekend. Some night work may also occur, and it is a combination of active time and on-call. During school holidays and public holidays, daytime work will also be relevant.

This summer, we will need extra assistants during weeks 25, 26, 27, 28 & 29 when the boy is off school and leisure activities.

We are now looking for several assistants for the workplace! There is also a smaller fixed schedule of approximately 40%, and there is a need for substitutes who can work in the absence of regular assistants.

God Assistans cares for its assistants, has a collective agreement, and offers wellness grants of up to 4,000 SEK/year.
