Per Brahegymnasiet (PB) is a school that is innovative and forward-thinking, yet also rests on a historical foundation and cherishes its traditions. We care for each other and work to create a workplace where we all thrive and develop. The school has about 1500 students and 150 staff members and is beautifully located in central Jönköping. The higher education preparatory programs we offer are EK, ES, IB, NA, and SA. The school is organized into four principal areas with shared support functions.

Your New Job

You will be teaching mathematics and another subject, and parts of the position will likely involve teaching in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The position includes mentorship as well as participating in and being responsible for tasks within program teams and pedagogical development groups. You will largely plan and carry out the educational activities together with colleagues and students, working to encourage students to take their own initiatives and responsibility for their learning.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification for high school in mathematics and another subject. You find it easy to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great importance on the ability to see opportunities for improvement and development in our operations. Jönköping Municipality uses several learning platforms, so you are also expected to have experience and knowledge in handling ICT tools. You are open to teaching in English as IB is an international program.
