Your New Job

There is now an opportunity for you who want to teach at Erik Dahlbergsgymnasiet to become part of our team. You will teach students in economics subjects combined with another subject, and through your curiosity and engagement, inspire good study results. Together with us, you will create environments that promote students' learning and development and actively participate in the school's development work.

Furthermore, you will also be part of the school's whole and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, school management, and other school staff. In addition, like other teachers at the school, you will have tasks including mentorship.

Erik Dahlbergsgymnasiet is the largest high school in Jönköping Municipality. We have over 1500 students spread across four college preparatory programs, two vocational programs, and two vocational introduction programs. We are about 160 staff members who all work to create the best conditions for the school's youth. Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification for high school in economics subjects combined with another subject. We are looking for someone who wants to be an active player in the work of further developing our economics program. Furthermore, it is a great advantage if you have experience teaching at the high school level, but it is not a requirement.

As a person, you have high independence and initiative. In this recruitment, we will place great importance on collaboration skills, social competence, and personal suitability. Your ability to engage and inspire is highly valued, as well as your flexibility and ability to develop.

• Work for a good study environment in the classroom
• Use a formative approach
• Ensure that students have influence over their own learning
• Are knowledgeable in your subject and conduct structured and varied teaching.
• Use communicative Swedish in speech and writing

A large part of the communication with students and guardians takes place via Vklass, which is Jönköping Municipality's learning platform. For our internal communication, we mainly use MS Teams. We therefore expect that you are well acquainted with working in a learning platform and that you naturally use digital learning resources in your teaching.
