Holavedsgymnasiet is a school with approximately 800 students and a wide range of vocational and university preparatory programs. The school also includes introductory programs and adapted high school. Holavedsgymnasiet is located in central Tranås, which means proximity to various activities and good commuting opportunities. The work environment is open, and we work to ensure that every student develops and is prepared for the future. We systematically work to provide you, as a new teacher, with a good start and introduction to working at the school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special teacher, you will work to meet students' needs for extra adaptations and special support. You will work both with individual support and with students in smaller teaching groups.

You will work closely with other professionals at the high school, such as other special teachers, special educators, teaching colleagues, student health teams, counselors, school nurses, and principals. In the role of special teacher, you will help develop the learning environments at the high school.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is an educated special teacher with a focus on language, writing, and reading development, with authorization for high school. We prefer that you have previous experience in high school. It is an advantage if you have experience in conducting reading and writing assessments and other evaluations of students' needs.

Collaborative ability: You seek collaboration with colleagues and are receptive and communicative in your interactions with them. At the same time, you have the ability to independently organize and evaluate your work.

Flexible: The best interests of the students are always in focus, and your approach is characterized by seeing opportunities in changes. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and are confident in your role. You work well independently as well as in a team. You have a good ability to adapt to different students and circumstances.

Structured: You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You set and adhere to deadlines and are meticulous and well aware of the goals of the organization.
