Your new job

We are a school moving forward and are looking for staff who want to continue the good work that is ongoing at our school. Together with subject colleagues, you will plan the teaching in SO so that students receive equal instruction of good quality and the best possible knowledge development. You will be placed in a work team and have a role as a mentor for a group of students. The mentorship includes regular contact with students and their guardians. You will actively participate in the school's development work and collaborate well with colleagues. For us at Alfred Dalinskolan, collegial learning is an important part of developing our school for even more accessible and language-developing teaching. As a new employee at AD, you will have an experienced colleague as a mentor during your first school year.

Alfred Dalinskolan is a 7-9 school located in the center of Huskvarna. It is a school with a long history dating back to 1899 but with new visions of becoming the school of the future in terms of knowledge, pedagogy, facilities, and technology.

Your qualifications

We are now in need of a licensed SO teacher who will teach all four SO subjects. You will be part of engaged subject teams in SO, so good collaboration skills are an important trait. Ideally, you have previous experience working in a multicultural school. You are comfortable with digital technology and use it as a natural tool in your teaching. It is an advantage if you are qualified in all four SO subjects.

As a person, you are unpretentious and naturally take responsibility for developing your work. We see that you have a flexible approach, initiative, and of course, a positive view of students. You are relationship-building and help relationships with students grow. You are interested in the overarching work and will belong to a work team where we see you as an important part of a whole that works to ensure all students reach their goals.

Good to know

To facilitate the recruitment process, we ask you to attach relevant certificates and grades for the position you are applying for. Please note that the Education Act requires all employees to present an extract from the criminal record, and the processing time for this document can be long.

Before hiring new employees for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching license. Therefore, we ask you to attach a current teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
