PhD Position in Regional Cybersecurity Awareness for SMEs in Production (RECAP)

We offer a PhD position in our research project Regional Cybersecurity Awareness for SMEs in Production (RECAP).

The project at Jönköping University is linked to the KK Foundation's anniversary environment "Knowledge Foundations", which aims to promote co-production with industry and interdisciplinary collaboration.

In this environment, you will receive support from PhD students and professors from all over Sweden. You will be connected to a research group within https://ju.se/cpr (https://ju.se/cpr).

The exact enrollment for the PhD project will be developed and decided jointly with the candidate within the framework of RECAP.

Responsibilities

As a PhD student at Jönköping University, your working hours will primarily be dedicated to PhD studies. This includes taking PhD courses, participating in scientific conferences, publishing scientific articles, and writing a doctoral thesis. Up to 20% of your working hours may consist of teaching and/or administrative work.

At JTH, we conduct research and teaching in computer science, computer engineering, and informatics. We have two growing departments in these areas, with about 50 employees. Your placement will be at the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics. We offer education at the undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels. Teaching takes place in both bachelor's, master's, and engineering programs ranging from graphic design to software development and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

You need to have completed a master's degree, fulfilled course requirements of at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 higher education credits at the advanced level, or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge.

Furthermore, the following is required:

• Knowledge in cybersecurity
• Knowledge in research methodology
• Good ability to collaborate and plan your work

It is advantageous if you have:

• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Experience working in cybersecurity
• Experience in organizational development
• Experience working with usable security design

• Position: Fixed-term according to collective agreement, 100% scope

• Salary and conditions: Regulated by collective agreements, starting salary 34,800 SEK/month
