Your new job

As a special education teacher in our preschools, you will play a crucial role where we strive together to work proactively and preventively by developing accessible learning environments.

From a relational and salutogenic perspective, you will be responsible for:

• creating trusting relationships in interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues
• being a qualified conversation partner in meetings with staff and guardians
• supporting the organization at the individual, group, and organizational levels
• providing guidance, consultation, and professional development initiatives within work teams
• collaborating with guardians as well as internal and external contacts
• working towards secure transitions from preschool to school, etc.
• documenting and systematically following up, evaluating, and analyzing ongoing processes

As a special education teacher, you will work closely with management and other development personnel with our common goals in focus. In Jönköping Municipality, we work to ensure that all children understand and are understood. The position is distributed across:

• The Munksjöstadens preschool area, which consists of the preschools Munksjöstaden, Idas preschool, and Skeppsbrons preschool. Our guiding principles are that it should be fun, safe, and educational with us. The goal is to create a preschool where children come with enthusiasm and joy. We value job satisfaction and a good work environment where everyone feels involved. We strive to drive the preschool's development forward.
• The Skänkebergs preschool area, which consists of Sveahälls preschool, Skänkebergs preschool 1, Skänkebergs preschool 2, and Dalviks preschool. Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with a special education degree and experience from preschool operations. If you are nearing the end of your education, you are also welcome to apply. In addition to a special education degree, personal qualities such as good collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships with children, guardians, and staff are valued. It is also important that you can work independently and in a structured manner.
