Your New Job

We are currently seeking a new colleague for the middle school at Taheskolan. Together with your colleagues in the work team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and developing teaching in a way that is based on a holistic view of the student and their needs, in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents. In addition to teaching, the role also includes being a class teacher. We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our students' abilities, knowledge, and self-belief, as well as prepare them for life and the future. Through knowledge and creativity, you inspire your students to a joyful learning experience, to take responsibility, and to develop.

Welcome to Us

Taheskolan is one of the municipality's smaller schools, located in the southern parts of Jönköping. The school is surrounded by greenery with ample opportunities for outdoor activities with the students. Taheskolan is part of a joint school area with Månsarpsskolan, with a total of about 350 students and an engaged team of around 50 employees.

The operations are led by a principal and an assistant principal. We cherish the family-like atmosphere where both students and staff thrive and support each other, and together we work to create a safe and inspiring learning environment.

We are also part of the Erasmus+ program for international cooperation, which allows employees to visit colleagues or participate in short training courses in various European countries.

Your Competence

You are qualified and have a teaching license to teach grades 4-6 or are at the end of your education. You are well acquainted with the curriculum and are confident in your role as a teacher and with the tasks involved in the teaching profession. You see the strength in working in a team and strive to develop each student's abilities, both academically and socially. You have a good ability to build relationships with students and are keen to be available for all students at the school.
