Your New Job

We are currently seeking a music teacher for Torpaskolan. In your role as a teacher with us, you will work towards the goal that all students feel secure, reach their knowledge goals, develop as individuals, and feel that the school provides a sense of coherence.

Welcome to Us

Torpaskolan is located in the southern district of Jönköping. We are a three-parallel school from preschool to grade 6 with approximately 500 students. The school is organized into teams where teachers from various professional categories work together with students throughout their entire school day. Each team includes an after-school program located in the school’s premises. Currently, nearly 75 employees work closely with the students at Torpaskolan. The school's strength lies in competent and engaged teachers focused on knowledge, learning, and safety, while placing great emphasis on fundamental values.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is qualified to teach music. You are a clear leader in the classroom and have the ability to create a warm classroom climate where you successfully inspire students in their learning. You possess good collaboration skills, strong communication abilities, good IT skills, and are well acquainted with pedagogical documentation. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

• Be responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching.
• Independently and collaboratively plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching within the team.
• Map students' knowledge levels and document their development.
• Ensure that education is conducted according to the curriculum and other governing documents.
• Improve teaching together with the team or teaching colleagues.
• Develop students' abilities, knowledge, and self-confidence.
• Build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Contribute to a pleasant working environment at the school that promotes learning and development during the students' school day.
