Your new job

Do you want to help shape the artists of the future while becoming part of the wonderful learning joy at Attarpsskolan 7–9? We are looking for a passionate art teacher who can inspire our students to develop their creativity and artistic expression. As an art teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment where you can make a difference. For most of the position, you will teach art and work on developing students' artistic abilities and creative thinking, but teaching may also occur in another subject depending on your teaching qualifications.

You will be part of a team with teachers of various subject competencies. Together, you will work to create conditions for successful learning in a safe environment with good relationships. The position also includes being a mentor for a number of students whom you will meet in your teaching. Your work will include planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching as well as assessing students' results.

Attarpsskolan is a 7–9 school with approximately 445 students and about 50 employees. We are located 10 km north of Jönköping, and it is easy to get here using the municipality's public transport.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in art for grades 7–9 and also has teaching qualifications in another subject. Those who have not yet received their certification or are nearing the end of their education are of course also welcome to apply.

You are communicative and easily build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are a clear leader in the classroom, creating safety and conducive study environments. You are expected to be familiar with and knowledgeable about modern ICT tools. We highly value your ability to interest, inspire, and engage, as well as your flexibility. We place great importance on collaboration skills and personal suitability.

The position is a parental leave substitute starting in the autumn of 2025.
