Your new job

In your role as a teaching assistant, you will work in classrooms as well as with individual students in grades 7–9 at an adapted primary school. The position also includes working in after-school care and short-term supervision before and after school. This activity takes place in the same premises as the school activities. The goal of the teaching assistant's assignment is to achieve increased independence for the student. Your task is to create good conditions for the student's development and learning through pedagogical and social support, as well as to provide security and structure in everyday life. Through your work, you contribute to the students' well-being and their ability to benefit from the school's teaching. The work also involves planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work at the workplace together with educators and other staff. You contribute to achieving the goals set out in the curriculum and education law and perform your tasks in such a way that the goals and guidelines for the operation are met.

Welcome to us

Welcome to us at Junedal's adapted primary school. Today, we have just under 80 students at Junedal School and eleven students in our section at the school in Attarp. The class sizes vary between five to nine students, and for each class, there are between three and six staff members consisting of both educators and teaching assistants.

Your qualifications

We would like you to have an education as a treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or similar. Experience working with NPF in schools is an advantage.
