Your new job

As a leisure teacher for our students, you will meet them during their free time and support their development. Currently, the position is divided between school and leisure center. We are looking for someone interested in working with students of varying ages. You will be part of a team that plans the educational work at the leisure center. You have an interest and commitment to quality work to develop the operations. The role includes planning, follow-up, evaluation, and documentation. It also includes conducting break-time lessons in the schoolyard.

Fagerslätt School is a newly built F-6 school located in Huskvarna Heights. At Fagerslätt School, all staff together create a holistic view of the student's day. We share a common responsibility for our approximately 320 students in the Fagerslätt School area. In the local environment, we have good access to forests and land that we can utilize for teaching, play, and recreation.

For us, relationships are fundamental and important in working with students and guardians.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher specializing in leisure education. If you have not yet received your license or are nearing the end of your education, you are also welcome to apply. We seek leisure teachers who are interested in outdoor education. You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Basic IT skills are a requirement.

As an employee, you find it easy to adopt a holistic perspective but also have the ability to see each individual. You have good collaboration skills and are solution-oriented. A student-centered approach is essential for success in this role, and we assume that “students do right if they can.” You have a good ability to build relationships with colleagues, guardians, and students.
