Are you our new sports leisure educator?

Do you want to be part of an engaged and inspiring team that works to provide students in the leisure center with the best conditions for development and learning through physical activity? Then you are the one we are looking for!

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for an engaged and passionate leisure educator with a focus on sports. In your role, you will be an important part of creating an active and developing leisure activity for our students. You will be responsible for planning and conducting various sports activities, games, and movement exercises that promote both physical health and social development. Your position also includes sports education for grades F-6. You will work closely with the school's other staff to create a cohesive learning experience where the leisure center complements the school's teaching.

Together with your colleagues in the leisure center, you will create a safe and stimulating environment for the students, where the focus is on both physical activity and personal development. You will work in a team that strives to offer activities that are both fun and educational, where students can release their energy while developing important social skills.

Since sports and movement are a central part of our leisure activities, it is important that you have a strong interest in leading and inspiring students through physical activity. You will also be responsible for adapting activities to the students' different needs and conditions, so that everyone can participate and feel included.

We offer you modern and well-equipped facilities, as well as access to your own iPad and staff computer as tools to plan and conduct activities. You will be part of an engaged team where collaboration and collegial support are central to our success.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is an educated and licensed teacher with a focus on leisure education and sports. You have a strong interest in sports and physical activity, and it is an advantage if you have experience leading sports activities or have a background in sports. It is also important that you are solution-oriented, creative, and have the ability to build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

You should have the ability to create a safe and inclusive environment where all students can feel seen and heard. We are looking for a person who enjoys collaborating and sees the importance of the entire leisure operation working towards common goals.
