Do you want to help create inspiring and motivating teaching where music plays a central role in students' development? We are looking for a passionate and dedicated music teacher who wants to contribute to Trollehöjdskolan, where creativity, lesson design, and student motivation are at the forefront.

Trollehöjd is a four-parallel middle school from grades 7 to 9, with approximately 290 students. The low student count gives you good opportunities to grasp the whole picture and build strong relationships with students, teachers, and guardians.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a music teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to create dynamic and enjoyable lessons where students can develop their musical abilities through both practical and theoretical components. You will plan and conduct lessons based on modern lesson design, where motivation and student activity are central parts of learning. The teaching includes everything from singing, ensemble playing, and instrument handling to digital music production and music theory.

You will play an important role in adapting the teaching to the various conditions and needs of the students, and you will actively collaborate with colleagues to develop the subject of music in line with the school's educational vision. Together, we create an inclusive and developing learning environment where every student has the opportunity to explore and develop their musicality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed music teacher with experience teaching at the middle school or lower secondary level. You have a broad musical competence and can work with both acoustic and digital tools in your teaching. Experience with ensemble playing or music technology is a merit.

You are a confident and inspiring educator with the ability to motivate students through varied and engaging teaching. You have an analytical and solution-focused approach and can drive development processes to strengthen the subject of music and the school's overall educational work. We appreciate if you have experience working strategically with teaching development and can both initiate and implement measures that promote students' learning.

As a person, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating and sees yourself as part of a professional whole. You have a positive attitude towards collegial learning and are open to developing teaching together with others.
