Enebyberg School is a K-6 school with 630 students and 85 employees, located in a quiet residential area in Danderyd Municipality. The operation is well-functioning with very good results and many fine traditions. The school is very popular and has ambitious, pleasant students with engaged parents who provide us with good support in our work. We have a highly competent and dedicated staff, as well as good support resources in the form of well-developed student health services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate to plan the teaching for a specific grade, in accordance with our governing documents. You will be responsible for leading the daily work in your class, both independently and in collaboration with other teachers and staff in the after-school program. We have grade working teams and you will teach and be a mentor in our working group.

Your main teaching areas will be adapted to your competence. During the spring and autumn terms, you may have different placements within the middle school working group. You are expected to continuously follow up and evaluate the teaching to adapt it to the students' individual needs, whether they need extra support or additional challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher with broad qualifications.
• Has subject qualifications in mathematics and science, and preferably more subjects.
• Has experience teaching grades 4-6.
• Has experience with written assessments and grading.
• Is well-versed in the school's mission and governing documents.
• Has knowledge of inclusive and accessible learning environments.
• Has a very good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have experience in conducting and assessing national tests.

We are looking for someone with great initiative and confidence in communicating and building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You plan and organize your work well and complete what you start while meeting deadlines. We see you as flexible and adaptable, ready to contribute where needs arise. As a teacher, you have a clear interest in collegial learning, are unpretentious, and a natural leader in the classroom. Furthermore, you can work independently but also enjoy working in a team with colleagues and are collaborative. You are engaged and driven so that together we can become the absolute best school for our students. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
