Teacher and Representative of International Law at the Education Department, Markstridsskolan

We are looking for someone with a burning interest in education. If you have that, this is the perfect position for you; you will significantly improve the armed forces while being a role model for our younger colleagues. You will be involved in developing new combat techniques, methodologies, leadership, and pedagogy in the knowledge front of ground units. You will be the MSS representative for international law and responsible for the legal competence at MSS.

As a teacher, you are part of the education department and primarily support the training of professional officers and reserve officers. The education department has gathered all the specialized competencies needed for MSS program-based training and professional officer courses (YBK). The education department currently has about 15 employees, each with their area of expertise.

Main Responsibilities

• Support as a teacher in officer training and professional officer courses.
• Support/implement competence development for MSS personnel.
• Support MSS with training and development within your area of expertise.

Qualifications

• Professional officer
• Driver's license at least class B (manual transmission)

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience from international missions.
• Experience in combat training with live ammunition.
• Experience from service in battalion or brigade staff.
• Advanced competence in one of the following subject areas: military science, leadership, international law, or military technology.

Markstridsskolan is a joint army school for the development, education, and training of the army's combat units. Markstridsskolan trains officers and specialist officers, plans and conducts exercises, and trains combat units in advanced combat training facilities.
