About the Unit
K 3 regiment staff consists of about 40 employees, half of whom are professional officers and half have a civilian employment. The staff supports the commander of K 3 and other commanders at the regiment with coordination and follow-up and provides expert support in a range of different areas of competence. The staff, led by the chief of staff, is organized into nine sections where you, as a planning officer, belong to the planning and exercise/training section (G57).
Main Responsibilities
The planning officer is part of the team at G57, which consists of seven employees and is led by C G57. In your role as a planning officer, your main area of responsibility is to, under the leadership of C G57, be responsible for planning projects in the areas of production planning, war unit development, and exercise and training.
Main Responsibilities for the Position:
- Leads planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned tasks/exercises.
- Leads the implementation and follow-up of assigned planning tasks.
- Solves assigned tasks as a staff member at the regiment staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Professional officer.
- Driving license B (manual transmission).
- Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing (Swedish and English).
Personal Qualities
The position of planning officer requires you to be analytical and able to work in a structured manner. You have good initiative, process understanding, and an ability to maintain and drive processes for the function's and regiment's development. We prefer that you can work independently but also value collaboration within the team and with other colleagues.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
MERITORIOUS
- Current work experience within the Armed Forces' planning process.
- Current experience of exercise and training planning at the unit level.

The Life Regiment Hussars, K 3, has fast and effective units and a long experience in the intelligence field. K 3 trains a ranger battalion and an intelligence battalion.
The ranger battalion is a unit with high mobility that should be able to be the first on-site during an operation. The intelligence battalion delivers intelligence by using advanced technology, personnel on the ground, and unmanned aerial vehicles (RPAS).
