Soldier at the Technical Department of the Logistics Unit
We are looking for you who, after approved military service, want to serve in the Swedish Armed Forces as a soldier at the Technical Department of the Logistics Unit.
The Technical Department at F 7 coordinates technical services for ground and base equipment within the garrison. The department is divided into a Technical Customer Reception (TKM), which is the garrison's main reference regarding material maintenance for ground and base equipment, Technical System Support (TSS), which is the garrison's competence center with deep knowledge of the material systems present within the garrison, and a newly started Mechanics School (MekS) that is tasked with training both employed personnel and conscripts on technical systems.
Job Responsibilities
As a mechanic, you will be part of a repair group whose task is to carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and service on equipment available at the air wing. Depending on your prior knowledge, you will either undergo a full mechanic training at F 7 or selected parts if you have previous qualifications.
The work as a mechanic is varied, and few days are alike. The time not spent in the workshop or out in the unit performing repairs and service will be spent developing soldier skills and further education on technical systems.
