Senior Social Worker for Crime Group

The Social and Labor Market Administration consists of three operations. Operation 1 includes the Individual and Family Care (IFO) and consists of the Child and Family Unit, Reception and Prevention Unit, Unit for Social Interventions for Children and Youth, and the Unit for Social Interventions for Adults.

Our Child and Family Unit (BFE) consists of 7 teams: Family Law, Foster Care, Crime Group, three Child and Youth teams, an Investigation Group, a Placement Group, and two Combination Groups that work with investigations and open care interventions, as well as three VINR caseworkers included in the combination group. Each team is led by a Senior Social Worker, and in addition, there are two Assistant Unit Managers and one Unit Manager in the unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Crime Group consists, in addition to a Senior Social Worker, of 7 social workers who are all passionate about the target group. The Crime Group works with residents of Borlänge aged 0-100 years. The target group includes children and youth at high risk of continued norm-breaking behavior, as well as adults with serious criminality, professional criminals, and dropouts and their families.

The social workers' work includes standard case management regarding child and youth cases as well as adult cases, assessing the needs of Borlänge residents according to RBM (risk, needs, and receptivity). In the group, there is a social worker who is the coordinator for SIG and dropout activities. The Crime Group collaborates broadly with many different actors such as our own open care, guides, police, correctional services, schools, and Bup, to name a few.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead your social workers, facilitate team meetings where you work according to SOFS (Signs of Safety), lead individual case reviews, participate in salary discussions and recruitments. You will work with routines, guidelines, and development related to the area of work. You will be part of the management group of the Child and Family Unit (BFE) and will closely collaborate with other Senior Social Workers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Social Work
• Driving license B
• You have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• Experience working within social services. Desired experience includes authority exercise for children, youth, and adults, SoL, LVU, and LVM.

Desirable:

• Training in MI, BBIC, Signs of Safety, training in Criminality as a Lifestyle
• Knowledge of the operational system VIVA
• Leadership training
• Experience in managing within social services or another authority
• Knowledge of and work with RBM, lul/youth service/youth care
• Knowledge of contractual care/stay
• Knowledge of dropouts/dropout activities
• Knowledge of comorbidity, NPF, etc.
