Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. The client leads an active life, enjoys activities in nature, and has a great interest in animals.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 40s living in Avesta
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• is physically fit and can perform transfers in the job
• is not afraid or allergic to horses as the client rides every week
• has a B driver's license and can drive the client's car for various activities
• is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• share the client's interests in animals and nature

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer substitute for weeks 28-31 and is approximately 95%. The job involves working during daytime and evening hours on weekdays and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to provide an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
