Personal assistance is an intervention under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a man in his 40s living in Falun
• Is a calm and responsible person
• Has good physical fitness to perform transfers
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Is smoke-free (during working hours)

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in personal assistance or similar work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job of about 40 hours/week during weeks 27, 28, and 31. Working hours are scheduled from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. You will accompany the client to daily activities and other events such as swimming.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

The position starts in week 27, and before that, you will be offered shadowing.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
