We are looking for someone who wants a fun and varied job, where you support the students living in the school's boarding school. About 100 students from all our grades live here, but most are first-year students. The goal of the boarding school is for students to feel comfortable and well so that they can succeed in their studies. As a leisure leader, you are an adult role model for the students. You need to have good leadership skills and a flexible attitude. As a leisure leader, you create security by spending time with the youth, for example, having coffee together, playing table tennis or games, and chatting. You work to ensure that the youth have a good time during their stay at our boarding school. An important part of the job is to inform the youth about the rules that apply and to help the students adhere to them. You enjoy working with young people and find it easy to build good relationships. You can notice if someone feels excluded or experiences other difficulties. As a leisure leader, you have close cooperation with the school's student health team. You are a calm, secure, and clear person. You can kindly set demands and establish boundaries for the students. You must also be able to listen, provide comfort, and support students both socially and pedagogically. You have the ability to create a good working atmosphere with security and engagement in the group and meet each student according to their needs and conditions.

Your responsibilities

In your daily work, you will, among other things:

– plan and carry out various activities with the students, such as floorball, quizzes, movie nights, cooking, etc.

– support the students in planning and carrying out activities themselves.

– support the students in independently keeping their rooms and common areas in the boarding school tidy.

Requirements

Experience working with young people

Driving license (B)
