Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

  • wants to work with a 34-year-old man living in Rättvik
  • has good knowledge of Swedish
  • has a driver's license
  • is smoke-free (during working hours)

It is also an advantage if you:

  • have experience in similar work
  • share the customer's interests, which include hockey and motor interests such as crosscart, folk racing, and motocross

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job with approximately 45% in June, 95% in July, and 80% in August. The position involves around-the-clock shifts from 09:00 to 09:00, both weekdays and weekends, with about 9 hours of on-call duty at night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be according to collective agreements.

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
