JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a business developer, you will be a key person in the management of the three preschools, becoming a pedagogical leader in the field. You will form a management team together with the principal, unit developers, and, in some cases, special educators.

Your focus will be to develop, quality assure, and lead the operations at the preschools, ensuring that the education is designed according to the curriculum and other governing documents. This involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing the educational activities together with the work teams. Together with the principal, you will identify further areas for development.

By providing guidance, feedback, and sharing your knowledge and experiences, the business developer ensures quality in the operations.

A selection of job tasks:

• Ensure that the education is of good quality and conducted according to the curriculum and other governing documents
• Be a good role model in the professional, practical, and pedagogical actions of everyday life.
• Assist the principal in the practical implementation of systematic quality work
• Lead reflections and discussions regarding the content of the educational activities at both group and individual levels.
• Support and inspire the development of learning environments.
• Stay updated on evidence-based research and implement it in the operations
• Together with the principal and unit developers, create/form development days, evening conferences, and events.
• Act as a mentor or support for mentors to newly graduated preschool teachers as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be an educated preschool teacher (degree certificate and preschool teacher license required)

Experience in:

• Leading other educators towards development
• Developing yourself by actively seeking new research and science
• Leading and communicating in larger contexts such as workplace meetings and development days.
