Rolfstorp and Skällinge schools have a close collaboration. The schools share the same principals and student health teams. Together, the schools have 360 students. Rolfstorp School is a K-8 school, while Skällinge is a K-3 school. The schools are located in a beautiful natural setting.

At the schools, active development work is conducted both in school development and student health. The schools have actively worked on reading and writing development. They focus on strengthening the sense of community and creating a positive work environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will collaborate with our other special teacher/special educator. The work will be directed towards all educational stages.

Motivating and inspiring students to reach their full potential is your greatest driving force. Together with teachers and other staff in the student health team, you create an accessible learning environment where every student has the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions. Through relational leadership and an inclusive approach, we create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a special teacher in Varberg municipality, you are an important part of the school's student health team. You work closely with the principal, special educator, and other professionals to develop and implement measures that strengthen students' knowledge development and well-being. You primarily work preventively and promote students' well-being while guiding and supporting teachers in adapting instruction and the learning environment at both individual and group levels.

By teaching, mentoring, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals, you contribute to developing the quality of instruction and creating structures and processes that endure over time. You have a humble, formative approach and share and absorb knowledge to strengthen the school's goals. With curiosity, courage, and a solution-oriented mindset, you work to find paths where every student can succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating instruction. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific grounds with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on instruction together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt instruction based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
