Brass Teacher at Nacka Music School

Your Mission

Nacka Music School is a municipal music school that offers music education for children and youth aged 7–19, with a wide range of instruments and singing.

As our brass teacher, you will be well-versed in teaching all different brass instruments. You will teach both individually and in groups for younger and older students. We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to music and teaching and looks forward to representing the music school in the municipality. The work primarily takes place in the afternoons and evenings, but work may also occur on weekends.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is required that you have:

• A higher education degree or equivalent in music
• Good computer skills and experience working with Word, Excel, and notation software
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have:

• A teaching degree with a focus on brass instruments
• Experience in similar work within music and cultural schools
• Competence in teaching piano or additional instruments, which can increase the possibility of a larger position
• A valid driver's license (B)
