We are looking for a Security Specialist in physical protection for our client.

Job Description

As a security specialist in physical security at our client, you will be part of the security department in the organization's facility projects. You will support the project in considering the fundamental operational and security protection requirements placed on the design of physical security at the client's facilities.

You will be part of the facility security group and contribute to developing protection solutions, regulations, and routines, etc. As a security specialist, you will be involved in several projects at different stages, making it important to be structured and able to keep track of deadlines, etc.

In this assignment, you will participate in assigned facility projects and handle issues related to facility projects. Physical protection includes:

• Perimeter protection (fencing).
• Area surveillance
• Access control
• Burglar alarms
• Mechanical and electromechanical security protection (doors, windows, walls, locks, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop technical descriptions regarding physical security for each project
• Participate as technical support regarding physical security in the facility projects
• Review technical documentation (construction, building, as-built documentation) against requirements
• Actively participate in meetings related to the projects (project meetings, technical meetings, construction meetings, etc.)
• Project representative during inspections
• Handing over the completed facility to management

Mandatory Requirements

• High school education.
• At least 5 years of work experience in project management of security technical installations (e.g., burglar alarms, access systems, camera systems, doors, windows, or locks).
• At least 5 years of work experience in reviewing documentation for security technical installations.

Desirable Qualifications

• Is or has been a certified Authorized Engineer for burglar alarms according to SSF 1016 at some point in the last 5 years.
• Is or has been a certified Authorized Engineer for CCTV systems according to SSF 1062 at some point in the last 5 years.
• At least 12 months of experience working in collaborative projects regarding construction contracts as a responsible party.
