The changing global situation means that our defense needs to be strengthened and the increased intelligence activities against Sweden and the Armed Forces are extensive. The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence activities and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as for mapping external threats against Sweden.

About the Department
The Security Intelligence Analysis Department (SÄKA) works to indicate, clarify, and counter security-threatening activities and to conduct defense intelligence activities related to security-threatening actors. A large part of the work at SÄKA is focused on foreign states' intelligence activities directed against Sweden and Swedish interests, with a particular focus on foreign intelligence activities directed against the Armed Forces.
Main Responsibilities
We are now looking for a production leader for SÄKA with a focus on threat assessment concerning foreign states' security-threatening activities directed against the Armed Forces. The main task is to conduct threat assessments based on the analyses produced by the department and provide support to the Armed Forces and NATO. In this work, you will collaborate with security functions at the defense staff, military regions, and branches of the armed forces. The tasks also include producing threat assessments for NATO, responding to RFIs, and monitoring incoming information flows from NATO. In the work of producing threat assessments, you will work closely with analysts at SÄKA.
Qualifications
- Academic education, equivalent military training, or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Several years of experience working within the Armed Forces.
- Experience in intelligence or analytical work.
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
Meritorious
- Experience in conducting threat assessments within the Armed Forces.
- Experience in collaboration within NATO.
Personal Qualities
To thrive in this role, it is essential that you are self-driven, innovative, and creative. You enjoy both long-term work and short-term time constraints. We also see that you are interested in working with Sweden's security and that you have a high level of security and confidentiality awareness. Furthermore, we would like you to have good social skills.

The qualifications mentioned above must be able to be verified upon request through certificates, references, and work or selection tests.

Employment form: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period. The position is placed at level CF3/OF3 and is open for both civilian and military employees to apply.

Employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required. Security clearance with a background check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment also includes an obligation to be placed in wartime.
