Job Description

To describe the position as accurately as possible, we spoke with one of the security guards on site who describes the work as follows:

- For me, what stands out about the position is the scenic environment in which you work. You get to experience all seasons and are truly close to nature. You also work a lot with job rotation, which allows you to learn all the different tasks and makes for a varied job. Additionally, it's a close-knit team that works here, and we do fun things together even outside of work.

As a security guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a regular guard and often work closely with our customers' staff on objects that are crucial to Sweden's security.

If you want to work as a security guard in a scenic environment, you now have the opportunity to become one of our new employees at our security object in Lovön, near Ekerö, in western Stockholm. We prefer that you have your own car, and we can offer parking space as well as salary group supplements.

We need staff for both our daytime and nighttime teams. The scheduling is Monday to Friday, with daytime shifts from 06:00-18:00 or 06:30-18:30.

You will, for example:

• Staff the monitoring and management center
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the objects
• Conduct internal and external inspections
• Be responsible for vehicle searches
• Actively work on the security around our security object

Training: If you lack training as a security guard, this can be provided if Securitas chooses to proceed with your employment. The basic training is conducted over 8 weekdays in Kista.

Military Security Guard: If you have completed security guard training as part of the Armed Forces' basic training, it is valid for civilian use. The training must have been completed in 2016 or later, and the certificate must not be older than 5 years.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• Good physical condition. Your physical ability will be assessed

Preferred if you

• have work experience in the security industry
• already have a civilian or military security guard training
• Weapon training
• Have worked with vehicle searches

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle a high work pace during busy periods. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, you must have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval under each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
