As a safety reviewer with us, you will play an important role in our assignments where you are responsible for the final check of drawings and technical documents before they are delivered to our clients. You ensure that our deliveries maintain the highest quality and comply with applicable regulations and standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with other technical areas and reporting to the project manager.
  • Planning and ensuring deliveries according to the agreed timeline and budget.
  • Conducting reviews and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.

You will be part of our group that consists of expertise in safety review, with office locations in Uppsala, Stockholm, or Norrköping, and collaborate digitally with our other colleagues from other locations in Sweden as well as internationally.

About you

We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, and meticulous in their work, with the ability to maintain high quality even in stressful situations. You prioritize the right tasks and keep a realistic perspective, even when things are busy. At the same time, you are patient, maintain your motivation when facing challenges, and understand that some processes require time to achieve the best results. The role also requires good signal technical analytical skills, observational skills, and the ability to quickly identify safety risks or deviations.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent vocational training, such as railway designer or acquired knowledge in another way.
  • At least 3 years of experience in reviewing railway projects.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

  • Reviewing authority in low voltage for railway projects.
  • Completed corresponding Railway School's basic training in signal technology for engineers, with course codes BSIÖG1-BSIÖG3.
  • Knowledge of various substations and ATC.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary projects.

Location and other information 

We offer a permanent position at SYSTRA AB, starting by agreement. You will be based at one of our offices in Stockholm (we have offices both in the south and north), Uppsala, Västerås, or Norrköping, but we also offer the flexibility to work remotely a few days a week. Travel for work may occur.
